The Kigali Convention Centre (KCC) is adjacent to the Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Center. KCC has a net floor area of 32,200 square meters, and the building contains facilities for business, leisure and events. Our meeting rooms are fully equipped with the latest technology and audiovisual equipment for a successful event. There is a total of 18 versatile meeting spaces, including a state-of-the-art auditorium that can hold up to 2,600 guests for weddings or professional business meetings. Furthermore, KCC offers a 12,610-square-meter function space spreading over the 18 different venues. A wide variety of dining facilities is available as well, such as Auditorium Club, the exclusive Business Lounge, Piazza Bar and the Filini Restaurant—a passionately Italian restaurant that provides a unique mix of sophistication and casual design.
The Peace, Security and Cooperation Framework Agreement (PSC-F) signatory countries convened the Great lakes Investment and Trade Conference (GLITC) as a follow-up action to the first Private Sector Investment Conference, held in 2016 in Kinshasa. The mobilization of private sector investment into the region to harness the extensive natural resources endowments and existing economic opportunities could be catalytic in creating shared prosperity and destiny. On the long run, private sector investment bears the potential to contribute to the collective efforts towards sustainable peace, stability and the transformation of the Great Lakes region. Thus, the Conference will focus on cross-border trade and investment, as catalysts for regional integration.
